About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Reinsurance Contract Administrator to join our corporate team.

Review and draft reinsurance contracts in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Provide advice and counsel to internal customers concerning all aspects of the reinsurance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain reinsurance documentation in accordance with statutory timeframes.
• Compare contract clauses to company standards and state requirements.
• Review contract for intent based upon experience.
• Compile written review notes for distribution to counter-party and enforces wording compliance.
• Identifies risk transfer triggers for review by Actuarial.
• Input data to various tracking databases and produces reports.
• Draft intercompany reinsurance contracts.
• Maintains orderly and compliant contract files.
• Assists with Security Committee and Commutation work.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent education and/or experience
• 5 Years of professional Reinsurance experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
• Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package
• Additional Relevant skillsets
  • Contract review and writing experience
  • Paralegal Experience
  • Other insure experience
