Software Developer (On-Site)

We are looking for Software Developer capable of thriving in our fast-paced Houston facility. 

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and improving existing software applications
• Maintaining the code repository
• Transferring applications from legacy languages to modern/supported languages
• Developing new applications with clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Assisting electrical engineers with advanced programing on crane communication systems
• Assisting IT department in troubleshooting applications
• Applications include:
  • MRP/ERP systems
  • Microsoft SQL, MySQL, DynamoDB databases
  • Proprietary calculations programs including user interfaces
  • Interfaces between multiple softwares

This position involves an exciting mix of daily activities. We require a self-motivating person who is eager to learn, excel, and innovate.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to program in C#, JavaScript, React, and Typescript
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
