The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate paying of all employees on assigned payroll(s).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare reconciliations and various funding requests with every payroll.
• Analyze payroll data, reports and forms for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll database integrity and reconciliation of internal / external data.
• Validating and auditing timesheets to ensure compliance and accurate payments.
• Generate on demand checks for corporate and site locations.
• Processing nonstandard payroll transactions including stock compensation, merit increases, bonuses, tax equalization, relocation, applicable tax gross ups, etc.
• Processing termination payments in accordance with various state guidelines.
• Assist with auditing and reconciling quarterly and annual tax returns.
• Create variety of query reports to support payroll and site administrators
• Develop and maintain payroll metrics and reports as needed.
• Assist in payroll software transition including set up of pay rules, testing software and auditing data transitioned.
• Assist in special project work as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• College coursework preferred
• Minimum 4 years payroll experience in a multi-company, multi-state environment
• Experience processing large payrolls (2000+ employees)
• Experience with Workday HCM preferred
• In-house Payroll experience required (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc….)
• CPP Mandatory
• Knowledge of Federal and State wage & hour laws
• Strong background in MS Office and Reporting Queries
• Knowledge of stock, disability and pre-tax cafeteria plans
• Excellent communication, verbal, written and presentation skills
• Knowledge of automated time & attendance systems
• Maintain individual employee payroll files i.e. wage attachments, personal data changes
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, dedicated to the success of the payroll department
• A self-starter, with excellent customer service skills along with a proven ability of building good interpersonal relationships with people across the organization.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
• Must be extremely detailed oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with acquisition and divestures
