Staff Accountant - Entry Level

Mansfield Service Partners is looking for an Entry-Level Staff Accountant for our Houston, TX location.

Are you a recent graduate or about to graduate with a degree in accounting? Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for new grads or soon-to-be grads to gain hands-on experience and develop essential accounting skills in the dynamic oil and gas industry.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with month-end close entries and accruals.
• Reconcile general and subledger accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Help prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Manage inventory tasks, including reconciliation and periodic audits.
• Support process improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (graduation date no later than May 2025, preferred).
• 0-2 years of experience in financial accounting (internships or coursework considered).
• Thorough knowledge of G/L, A/P, and A/R
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
