Our clients Construction Machinery USA is dedicated to producing a full range of crawler excavators for the rental, landscape, construction, aggregate, road building, material handling, site preparation, recycling and ancillary markets, including zero tail swing, standard and compact models. Their machines are well-known for their advanced technologies including an innovative noise and dust reduction system, advanced hydraulic circuitry for reduction of pressure loss and superior fuel efficiency.
Job Summary: To function as support staff to aid the National Service Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Job (list in order of importance):
- Organizes material, complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and also terminology.
- Develops, writes, and also edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction manuals, catalogs, and also related technical material as well as administrative publications concerned with work methods plus procedures, and also installation, operation, and also maintenance of construction machinery.
- Receives assignments from supervisor
- Reviews published materials as well as recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content.
- Observes production, developmental and additionally experimental activities for defining operating procedure details..
- Will answer and field phone calls for the service department as well as the National Service Manager.
- Provide documentation of dealer visits by Field Service Representative (FSR), customer field audit, and technical support call reports to the National service manager weekly and/or a monthly report.
- Will maintain file records as well as files of work revisions, machine files, personnel files and any related records.
- May select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and also charts to illustrate material and reports.
- May assist in laying out material for publications, reports and special assignments.
- Will arrange for typing, duplication, and also distribution of materials
- Will assist in write speeches, articles, and also public or employee relations releases
- May edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other department employees as directed by the national service.
- Staying current with all improvements in technology and software pertinent to the job duties.
- Staying current with all improvements in technology and equipment design and changes as related to our field of products
- Communicate effectively with adverse, difficult situations and provide a positive approach to problem solving and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all paperwork from dealer network is properly completed, and that all holds and issues are cleared relating but not limited to: work orders, shipment notices, warranty registrations, Komexs release documents and all others.

- Participate in necessary meetings and conference calls.
Required Skills:
- Must be proficient with basic office software such as MS-Office.
- Ability to communicate technically in Bi-Lingual environment – English and Spanish
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Two to five years of related work experience.
- Ability to comprehend technical drawings such as Engineering Cad drawings, Hydraulic and electrical schematics and other types of technical materials.
- Strong analytical ability required to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, management, and customers; strong and demonstrated effective verbal, written and listening skills and professional telephone skills and manners. Must be able to work as a member and leader of a team.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude is a plus.
- Available to work as needed to answer calls from area professionals, and complete proper direction from said calls.
- Travel domestically and internationally 50% of the time.
- Available to assist customers or employees at any reasonable time of within normal day/week schedule.
EDUCATION REQUIRD TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applied skills normally obtained through the completion of an Associate Degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent work experience from this or a related industry or from military service and technical training. College or Technical school graduate preferred.
LIFTING (OR OTHER PHYSICAL) REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Must comply with safety rules and regulations and apply them to daily work routines for personal safety and the safety of others
LICENSING OR OTHER SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Needs to be licensed in all countries, region, states, cities he/she manages.
