Job Description

  • Prospect via phone for new customers (business or individuals) on a daily basis from various lead sources; be willing to contact potential customers multiple times before ruling out a sale
  • Deliver prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers to purchase our product
  • Respond to questions thoroughly and proactively
  • Identify and overcome objections
  • Take the customer through the sales process
  • Obtain customer information
  • Obtain possible customer leads
  • Maintain customer/potential customer databases
  • Follow up on all contacts at the guest’s convenience, which may, at times, be after hours or on weekends


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in sales, marketing or other related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales environment
  • Be a PHONE WARRIOR - willingness and ability to spend 80%-90% of the workday on the phone
  • Must be a MASTER of organizational skills and detail; must meticulously track details of all calls and follow-ups
  • Must excel with time management and prioritization; ability to juggle return calls quickly and efficiently in order to not miss a potential sale
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, planning, relationship building and sales/marketing skills – all steps of the sales process from cold call to close
  • Must be sales- and marketing-minded with ability intrigue potential customers to return calls and follow-up
  • Must exhibit patience and understanding with all individuals
  • Must have superior verbal communication skills – a pleasant telephone voice and ability to use proper grammar/language skills and enunciation; must be able to establish rapport with customers and potential guests of all levels
  • Experience with Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with a CRM system (Microsoft CRM, Salesforce, etc…)
  • Ability to multi-task, i.e. manage multiple priorities with similar deadlines
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and efficiency
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly-changing environment
  • Must be willing to accept changes of direction in work and priorities with a positive attitude
