Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:

This position is a key team player in Distribution leading and training the workers and ensuring the product is picked/labeled/packed and loaded efficiently.

Ensuring all tasks are performed in a safe manner, assuring the work environment is safe, consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.  

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers/customers and the preparation of documentation (bill of lading and invoice)
• Makes safety the number one priority
• Keeps alert for safety issues and escalates immediately
• Communicate any deviation, problem and/or abnormality with the equipment, processes and products
• Coordinates the location where each trailer/customer will be loaded
• Leading group of shipping and receiving team members
• Effectively prioritizes tasks based on department goals
• Demonstrates adaptability by reacting appropriately to unexpected changes in situation or circumstances
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice
• Any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked to be done by team member’s manager or supervisor

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• 4 -3 Years – Experience managing people/projects
• Foreign language required - Spanish
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization
• Ability to resolve conflicts
• Ability to analyze information
• Clear background check

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Ability to complete all essential function of Warehouse Associate position
• Able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be a high-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to work Monday-Saturday and overtime on a regular basis, and holidays
