Job Description

McLane Global is looking for a warehouse lead who coordinates and assists in supervising the warehouse activities pertaining to the inbound/outbound process.


 


Role Responsibilities



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions).

  • Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.

  • Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

  • Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Collaborates with the management team to help coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse.

  • Monitors the replenishment, selection, and loading of warehouse products to ensure the efficient flow of products in the warehouse.

  • Provides training for employees on job technique and/or safety requirements.

  • Assists in resolving warehouse issues, problems, or conflicts.

  • Adheres to the mission cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.

  • Ability to work with specialized mechanical and basic hand tools.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.

  • Be proficient with Office D365, RF Scanners, and Microsoft

  • Medium Work (lifting not more than 50 lbs. at a time, with frequent lifting/carrying of 25 lbs.)

  • Kneeling or crawling

  • Repetitive hand or body motions

  • Stepping up and down, ascending/descending stairs on a pallet jack

  • Stooping, crouching, or bending

  • Reaching with arms and hands above the head or to full extension

  • Grasping - applying pressure to an object with fingers, thumb, and palm

  • Large Warehouse Environment
