Overview






The Executive Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and attracting highly skilled Construction Professionals, executives and leadership candidates into the Electrical Construction Division. This role requires deep knowledge, connections in the industry and the ability to develop strong partnerships with business leaders, managing the full recruitment lifecycle. You will serve as a strategic partner, ensuring that we acquire the right talent to meet current and future organizational needs.









Responsibilities






  • Professional Search & Placement: Manage end-to-end recruitment for professional-level roles (Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents and above) across all divisions, with a focus on Electrical Construction, Services, and Distribution.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive candidates through various channels including industry networks, social media, and talent databases.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with regional and divisional leadership teams to understand current hiring needs and forecast future executive recruitment requirements.
  • Candidate Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial candidate screening and lead interview processes, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for candidates while identifying cultural and technical fit.
  • Offer Negotiation: Collaborate with leadership to manage the offer process, ensuring that terms of employment align with the organization’s goals and candidate expectations.
  • Pipeline Development: Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified executive candidates through proactive networking, headhunting, and industry outreach.
  • Market Research & Trends: Stay current with industry trends, competitor intelligence, and recruitment best practices to ensure the company’s ability to attract top talent.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage recruitment data and analytics to inform hiring decisions and continuously improve the executive recruiting process.
  • Employer Branding: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote the organization as an employer of choice within the industry.








Qualifications






  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the Electrical Construction industry, with at least 2 years focused on executive-level recruitment.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated experience managing multiple high-level searches simultaneously, with a successful track record of hiring for leadership positions.
  • Networking Skills: Extensive professional network within the Electrical Construction industry and a proven ability to source passive candidates.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment technology, and social media recruiting tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and external candidates effectively.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to use recruitment data to drive decisions and optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Travel Requirement: Ability to travel up to 20% for recruitment events, interviews, and networking.

  • Experience with recruiting for specialized roles within the Electrical Construction industry, such as project managers, engineers, and other technical positions.
  • Have a broad network of construction professionals in (1) Texas and (2) nationwide.
