YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the HR Director in completing all required tasks and reporting in order to meet or exceed all corporate requirements.
- Help employees and managers navigate through HR tools and processes.
- Develop complex and strategic ad hoc reporting as required
- Assist with audits necessary to maintain corporate compliance and insure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all employees by answering employee questions and/or responding to employee inquiries.
- Administers drug testing programs and coordinating quarterly random testing as required.
- Maintains employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and retention policies.
- Processes all invoices for the department in a timely manner.
- Responsible for onboarding all new employees, ensuring that all paperwork has been received and processed in a timely manner, including I-9 verification.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of
- Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Protective Agreement, Dispute Resolution Agreement, DDOL, EEOC etc.
- Supports the vision and mission of the company.
- Perform other tasks and projects as needed to support the human resources department.
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (business, organizational management, human resources management or related degree), and a minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-look up, etc.)
ADP, Workday, and Cornerstone experience preferred. - Multi-state experience is preferred.
- Must have experience supporting front-line management
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing or distribution environments strongly preferred.
