Assist in planning and executing employer branding activities, in partnership with Marketing team
Serve as a MAREK ambassador at various events, like career fairs and/or on-campus recruiting events
Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
Promote MAREK’s benefits, compensation, culture, and work environment
Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics and initiatives
Communicate regularly with operational leadership and the HR team to maintain a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals
Assist in developing creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
Research talent acquisition trends across all industries and those specifically in the construction industry
Participates in special projects that enable the Human Resources department to contribute to Company goals.
Performs other job-related duties in additional areas of responsibility as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience
4+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience (construction industry experience is a plus)
In-depth knowledge of candidate selection methods
Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment process
Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing, and Recruitment Marketing tools
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
Impactful presentation style
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus but not required
Must be willing to travel 10% of the time

WORKING CONDITIONS
Available to work during standard business hours with some after hours related to career fairs and to connect with candidates during their availability.
Capable of adjusting to a flexible schedule as needed to complete projects and meet deadlines in response to evolving business demands.
Comfortable working in an office environment, including cubicle, open office, or private office settings.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
Physical requirements include the ability to see, hear, sit for extended periods (up to four or more hours per day), stand, and stoop as needed.
