Description Summary:
The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for providing human resources services, business partner support and executing human resources processes and project work. In order to support assigned groups, the HR Generalist will work across multiple activities of the HR function including but not limited to positive employee relations, compensation, learning & development, talent management, HR Compliance and special projects. The Senior HR Generalist will assist with executing change initiatives across the business related to talent and HR strategy. He/She will also be responsible for improving and optimizing current HR processes to make them more effective and actionable for the business.
Associate Support /Relationship Management
Is responsible to assist with developing and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders. Supports and provides guidance in talent management, employee relations, performance coaching, and development. Additionally, the role includes providing initial support for employee queries and issues, managing complaints, as well as conducting interviews and exit interviews to gather insights and make recommendations based on the outcomes.
Takes part in the new employee orientation and assists new employees with guidance and support during the onboarding process. This includes organizing orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies and procedures, benefits, and ensuring a smooth transition into their new roles.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Management
Is responsible for assisting in finding the right talent for the organization through writing job descriptions, participating in interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role, and providing feedback to hiring managers and leadership regarding the interview process. Leads a standardization of job description project: gather existing job descriptions, reformat and ensure key information is included, ensure quality assurance and relevance with the business.
Assists in developing and implementing programs to promote employee engagement, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and other initiatives that can create a positive work environment.
Operational HR Responsibilities
Assists in administration related to HR processes, including ensuring HRIS data integrity of HRIS systems (Workday), generates reports, updates associate data and assists with talent management and total rewards processes.
Participates with the implementation and maintenance of HR programs, such as but not limited to, diversity and inclusion initiatives, development and tracking of budgets, forecasts, and HR department related expenses.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field.
3-5 years of post-graduate related experience
Intermediate knowledge of the Google Suite of products including Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Workday a plus
Previous HR Generalist experience a plus
